Here's the Meet Me On Monday questions. For all you people who just can't get enough of me!!

1. What is your favorite food?

Well, this question is just downright cruel! I only get to pick one?? Hmmmm....if I have to pick just one then the first thing that pops into my head is tacos! I'm a mesican ya know! There is sooooo much variety with tacos. Pork, chicken, steak, beans or no beans, tomatoes, lettuce, cilantro, cheese. Chile Relleno tacos, al pastor, tacos de papas. The list is endless!!

2. What color scheme is your bedroom?

OK so there really isn't much of a scheme to my room. It's multicolored! Ya know why?? Cuz there's clothes & toys scattered everywhere! So there ya go...my color scheme is rainbow...

3. Do you carry a donor card?

Yeup...although I hafta be honest...it freaks me out.

4. In your opinion, is the glass half empty or half full?

Well, half empty just sounds natural. But it also sounds depressing, it kinda makes my brain hurt when I say "the glass is half empty" I think all our lives we're told if we think it's half empty it's a big fat stinkin no-no. But can't half empty be a positive thing? Like half empty glass of Metamucil? Or half empty glass of too tart lemonade??

5. Vanilla or Chocolate?

Again with the only one choice thing?!??!!! Come on! Okay, I can do this. If I absolutely have to pick one I'd say chocolate. Oh wait...maybe vanilla?? No no chocolate, wait! Vanilla!! Crud, I'll just stick to the chocolate...maybe.

Cinnamon Crunch from Panera!! So good!!

2. If you had an extra $100 right now, what would you spend it on?



My girlies..no doubt.
I would take them out for a day with mama =)


3. What is the last thing that you felt guilt about doing?



My daughter did something to upset me,
instead of showing her grace I was harsh. I feel really bad about that.


4. Soft serve ice cream or hand dipped?



Hands down, hand dipped!!
And if we're goin with hand dipped the best is strawberry =)

5. Are you allergic to anything?



Well, I'm really not allergic to anything at all

1. Crunchy or smooth peanut butter?

Definitely creamy although I sometimes like to use crunchy for PB cookies or PB brownies...yum!!

2. What is your favorite color Rose?

RED!! I know it's so very simplistic, but I just don't think you can beat a beautiful red rose. They're simply breathtaking.

3. Do you remove your shoes when you walk into your home?

Naahhh...we really should, & do in someone elses home. But honestly, we rent this place & the carpet isn't exactly the best feature here so it isn't a huge priority. I suppose I should be teaching my chillins to take off their shoosies. Oh well.

4. What is your favorite season?

I absolutely love autumn. There is no season that displays the wonder of God's creation like the colors of fall. It's just mesmerizing to me. I have my Mama to thank, autumn is also her favorite time of the year so this season makes me feel closer to her. I remember as a little girl searching for the most beautiful leaves that had fallen. I excitedly brought handfuls of leaves to my Mama. She ALWAYS showed such joy to me over these little gifts, I have no idea what happened to them. Now my little ones give them to me =)

5. Approximately how many hours a day do you spend blogging?

The above picture is very accurate to my life!! LOL!!
Yes, there are ALWAYS dishes in my sink.
Yes, my baby cries...DUH.
And yes, my computer desk is piled with papers.
That being said...blogging is not a huge priority. I do love to blog but this just isn't a season of life that I can dedicate a whole bunch of time. A blog usually takes me anywhere from one half hour to an hour depending on the subject. And I don't post everyday. Soooo...figure that out =)

1. What jewelry do you wear 24/7?

I wear my wedding rings 24/7. If I take 'em off to put lotion on the kids I usually freak out shortly after because I'm afraid I'll lose them. I got mad at The Hubby & took 'em off to be a jerk & not too long after I felt EXTREMELY guilty & very vulnerable without them on. I feel almost like they protect me from unwanted advances as well as they honor my Hubby & God. I'll never take them off again...unless of course to lube up the kiddos.

2. Do you twirl your spaghetti or cut it?

I suppose I twirl...I just kinda eat & don't pay much attention. I definitely DO NOT cut, that's just kinda odd to me =)
But do you know there's actually a "Spaghetti Twirling Fork"???
Now, that's odd. Seriously folks you can actually purchase a battery operated fork that twirls s'ghetti for ya!! Jeesh...

3. How many siblings do you have?

I have my super dee duper sis Lisa, she's as sweet as pie & tough as nails.

She is my best friend (except for The Hubby) & one of the coolest people I know.

Then there's my big brother Frank. He is by far one of the smartest guys on the planet, seriously...I'm not exaggerating. Sometimes he talks & I'm thinkin' "is he speaking English?? Cuz he just went off in some other realm" Really tho, I look up to him a bunch.

Lastly there's Monica, my step-sis. She came with my Step Papa, I've known her forever & love her a ton.

4. Were you named after anyone? Nope...I'm an original.

5. Coke or Pepsi?

Really??? How can this still be a debate? Coke rocks...Pepsi's gross. Sorry to all my Pepsi lovin' friends.

1. What is your favorite way to eat potatoes?

I love love LOVE greek potatoes...ohhhh, they are soooo bad for you. See how they're swimming in butter? And there's a lemony flavored goodness in their too. Oh these are just to die for.

2. What was the last package that was delivered to your house?

hmmmm.....does Netflix count???

3. What is your favorite scent that you love to smell?

Well, my awesome Supermom Sis makes the most beautiful essential oils. She makes one that I can't go a day without, it truly smells like Heaven =)
I just rub a bit on my face & I'm complimented all the time about how great my complexion is & that I smell wonderful!

4. Do you smoke?

ech..Achhh..hack...hack...NO!!! honestly, I smoked for 10 years & I'm sooooo thankfully to God that I quit. Now, I can't stand the smell of the vile stuff...

5. Are your parents married or divorced?

Unfortunately, my parents divorced when I was young, honestly I'm not certain of how old I was.

Thankfully, they're both remarried & happy.

1. Did you get any Valentine's Gifts?

Why yes I did! My girlies made cards for mama =) I love so much when they make things for me, I literally have a box full of cards & drawings, even some from Cow over 10 years ago! Also, my oh so awesome MIL brought me a box of chocolates...yummmmm. And The Hubby is taking me out for dinner tonight!

2. What is your favorite topping on something toasted?

Hands down, no doubt...peanut butter, bananas, & a drizzle of honey. Oh! This is *stupid good!! Trust me, give it a whirl. First, get yourself a nice thick slice of whole wheat toast. I suppose you could use white but it may give under the pressure of all the awesome toppings, so ya need a nice strong bread =) Second, toast it up & let it cool just a bit, slather (yes, SLATHER) on peanut butter & add some sliced 'nanners. Then drizzle on some honey. If you'd like to take it to another level of *stupid goodness sprinkle on some cinnamon.

3. Do you pick out your outfit the night before?

No...yes...ummm...well...hmpf. OK, the answer is no AND yes. Saturday nights I pick out what I'll be wearing to church Sunday morning. See, Sunday's are my day to dress up, the hair gets done, make up is applied, heels are rockin'. However, during the week..not so much. I'm typing in PJ's right now. Not sure what I'm gonna where today...probably clothes.

4. What food item do you absolutely despise?

Oh come on...this is just nasty. Horseradish?? I mean, it's a horse & it's a radish....terrible images come to mind. I know it's really not but what ever it is it's just wrong. I absolutely hate the taste of it & The Hubby is always trying to get me to try it on a sandwich or in some oh so wonderful dip. Honestly, I just wanna run & hide under a rock when he comes at me with that stuff. Yuck!!

Here's this week questions...

1. Did you watch the Superbowl?

Ummmm....yeup. And I ate too much, screamed A LOT, and was very VERY disappointed when The Steelers lost. Now lemme just point out I am not a huge Steelers fan, I am a Chicago BEARS fan. Two weeks ago the packers (no caps intended) beat The Bears in the playoffs. Now, if you're like me & you live in Chicago, you know a few things...we don't get intimidated by snow, we don't eat ketchup on our dogs, & we do not I repeat DO NOT root for the packers...nuff said.

2. What is the last book that you read?

In 2008 I said hello & goodbye to 2 of my children, Isaac & Hannah Joy. I was blessed to carry them for a time. It was the most difficult season of my life. I was sustained by God's goodness & grace & I will praise Him all my days.
The book I Will Carry You: The Sacred Dance of Grief & Joy is beautiful & yet heart wrenching. If you have walked this path or know someone who is currently on it please take the time to open your heart to the Lord & read these tender words.

3. What is your favorite kind of cake?

Cheesecake! Without a doubt...I love it! So many varieties & oh so yummy! I used to be a simple girl who was satisfied with a slice of plain cheesecake with a little strawberry topping but then I was introduced to Turtle Cheesecake & my palette was intrigued. Was there more?? Could I be missing out??? Oh YES! I was...so now I love 'em all...chocolate, raspberry swirl, lemon chiffon. MMmmmm...cheesecake. I know it's bad but it's so soo good.

4. Do you snore?

Absolutely not!!! I am waaaaay to ladylike for that...however The Hubby may disagree =)

5. Do you play an instrument?

Yes! As a matter of fact I do...it's the worlds smallest violin! I tend to play it when there is some whining to accompany me =)

1. What do you put on your hot dog?
MMmmmm....a Chicago Style Vienna Beef Dragged through the Garden....Heaven.

Seriously the only proper way to eat a dog. A steamed, NOT BOILED dog must be topped in this order...

1. Yellow Mustard
2. Bright "Neon" Green Relish
3. Fresh Chopped Onions
4. Two Tomato Wedges
5. A Pickle Spear or Slice
6. Two Sport Peppers
7. A Dash of Celery Salt
   

No ketchup please....
OK, now I'm hungry!!!

2. Do you play Sudoku?
No. Honestly, I never was able to understand the game. I know...your probably laughing hysterically right now. I mean come on, I've seen the "Sudoku for Kids" in the checkout & felt there must be some key ingredients missing from my noggin. There's even a Sudoku Toilet Paper Roll!

You'd think if it's easy enough to clean the derriere I could manage to figure it out...butt...I JUST DON'T GET IT.

3. What is your favorite vegetable?
Hmmm...this is kinda hard cuz I really like my veggies. I guess I'll hafta cheat & go with two veggies...Bob & Larry

These guys are just awesome & my kids love 'em. They are the most well known faces of VeggieTales I guess there the Spokesveggies LOL!
VeggieTales is a great cartoon that teaches kids Godly morals with fun innovative (how could you not be innovative when using nothing but vegetables for characters?)stories from the Bible.

4. Do you color your hair?
Seriously??? Uh...yea. I have this strange feeling I'm getting old & my hair appears to agree.

5. What is your favorite brand of clothing?
Well now, time to get all personal huh??
OK...OK. My favorite brand is not well known, ya know cuz it's soooooo snazzy. It's called
"whatever isn't stained, torn, dirty, fits & is somewhat presentable"
